THANKSGIVING DAY

The chilly, rainy month of November was brightened by our annual Thanksgiving Day celebration! This year, while our younger students learned about the history of this holiday, gaining an understanding of the concept and importance of giving thanks, the focus of Junior and Senior students was shifted towards the Thanksgiving Feast. Primary and Junior students had an opportunity to participate in the Food Sculpture Contest and show their talent by presenting their delicious, handmade sculptures. Students enjoyed voting for the winning entries, then sampling their classmates creations. Senior students took part in a fun, thrilling «Kitchen Nightmares » improvisation, where they had to prepare a beautiful as well as delicious dish in real time and then present it to our strict judges! After the winner was chosen, everyone was able to try these magnificent desserts prepared by our students!
