SPA (Students and Parents Absent) DAY FOR TEACHERS
Teachers’ Self-Management Day

Questions to students

Jiya Surbir Singh (Supervisor of Primary 3 class)
— How did you feel in the place of the teacher?
-I felt very responsible. It was a bit annoying for some kids, but after that day I felt so grateful that some teachers really have to deal with some students like me.

Nigar Dashdamirova (Supervisor of Pre School class)
— How did you feel in the place of the teacher?
— I felt tired, even though I had to teach for only 3 lessons. It was exhausting and I appreciate teachers a lot more now.
— Is it better to be a student or a teacher?
— In my opinion, it is better to be a student because it’s not as hard as it is to be a teacher.

Questions to teachers

Arsine Nagapetyan (Supervisor of Primary 5 class)
— Did you have a nagging feeling that your kids were being taught by Senior students?
— No, it didn’t, but I pitied them. It just bothered me that Seniors had to deal with it.

Daniel Abu (Supervisor of Junior 4 class)
— Was there a moment during Teachers’ Day when you forgot that you’re an adult and a teacher?
— Part of being an adult is responsibility, and that day you made Teachers’ Day so, that we weren’t responsible for anything for a couple of hours. I would say that some kind of heavy burden was lifted off my shoulders because I didn’t have to worry about anything.

Aleksandra Belik (History Teacher)
— Did you have a nagging feeling that your kids were being taught by Senior students?
— The lessons were very well prepared, so I was sure that everything would be great.
— Was there a moment during Teachers’ Day when you forgot that you’re an adult and a teacher?
— The program was wonderful, the coolest things were drawing and making candles.
