Urals Student Convention

Our school’s partners in the city of Yekaterinburg annually conduct their own, local, Urals Regional Student Convention for primary-school students. In previous years, ISOT staff members were guests at this event. However, in April of this year, ISOT concluded to take a group of children to Yekaterinburg to participate directly in various competitions: music, dance, poetry recitation, sports events and etc. Accompanied by one of our teachers and a couple of other staff members, five ISOT students, aged 7-8 years, representing five different countries, traveled to Yekaterinburg and competed in the Urals RSC, earning medals, diplomas and other awards. It was an amazing experience — an adventure, a time of exchanging ideas and knowledge, a time of fellowship. We hope that the participation of ISOT students in the Urals RSC will become a wonderful, annual tradition.
